Lego(TM) Blocks

Linux

Set up a spare computer the other day, and threw linux on it to try things out.

So far I've managed to:
- Install Slackware without blowing up the computer.
- Figured out that "startx" is how you get into xfce.
- Installed Firefox 4 while breaking a minimum number of things.
- Installed Flash in Firefox without breaking anything.
- Made it use the nameserver *I* want instead of the sucky one Verizon/Frontier provides. (Running netconfig won't do it, btw. Manual file editing.)
- Set a new wallpaper on the desktop. ;-)
- Probably some other things I'm forgetting, also.
