Time Event

Let's say I have a handsfree thing meant for a Nokia phone, with the weird 2.5mm 4-conductor plug. (Actually does more than just handsfree, but that's not the point.)

Let's also say that I want to plug it into my soundcard. (Or equivalent standalone hardware, whatever.)

What's the easiest/cheapest/best way to do this? Is there some adaptor I can buy? That would probably be my first pick if I could find one. I'd /prefer/ to avoid soldering to the board inside, if it can be avoided at all (both because of the rather crouded layout using tiny solder points, and also because I dunno how those little "glop top" things react to being soldered near.)

Any ideas?

Current Mood: confused
