These ancient schematics do weird things. As it is I'm going to have to go through the parts list, change mmfd to pF and mfd to uF and such, figure out wtf to use where it specifies paper caps, and find something cheap/local that will work in place of a GE 1N1696 diode. Plus I'm still not sure what a "dual 20/20 mfd electrolytic capacitor" is, where to get one, or how to fake one.
On the bright side, I /did/ find the 6AF11 compactron that the design calls for on eBay relatively cheap. ($1.95 + $3.95 S&H)
I'm sure to run across other sources of confusion with this thing, but those can be dealt with once they come up. :)
