Unknown device.

Finally got around to looking at an old piece of electronics that I got a while back, and I still have no clue what it is. And for once Google isn't really helping find anything out about it.

Has 6 screw terminals in back, and mounding brackets like it goes in a car. As far as I can tell, the manufacturer is "SF", and the model is either "Synthesizer 81", or "SF-507". Has a set of four 3-position switches labeled "Mode Selector", the four individual switches labeled "mod freq", "function", "mod level", and "freq", plus a knob labeled "volume", and a button labeled "push on".

No idea what it does.

Anyone have even the slightest clue what I have? Because it looks like it might be interesting, if I knew what it was or how to hook it up...
